The ApiAfrique products are all made in Senegal. They are made by women in Ngaparou (in the area of Thiès) and soon in our Eco-center (an eco space for training, production, co-working). To rebalance, bring value, change and show that it is possible.

45-50-450: 3 numbers that motivate us every day. 45% of young women in the suburbs of Dakar miss at least 1 day of school as a result of their period. 50 is the number of chemical products in a disposable nappy or sanitary towel. 450 the number of years for these nappies and towels to biodegrade.

LET’S CHANGE THE FLOW
“Let’s change the flow” is a multi-support and multi-actor program on the menstrual cycle and hygiene. In partnership with Yaay.sn and Sonatel, this program aims to inform and help girls and women, wherever they live and whatever their literacy level.
THE NEW WORKSHOP
After several months of work with contractors, we’ve decided to set up our own workshop to follow the production on a daily basis, integrate the seamstresses to our team and innovate every day!
The workshop just opened its doors in Ngaparou, while the ApiAfrique Eco-center is being built.
